Ménage à Trois

Suzie and I started jamming one night on George street. It was true love: my friend and I had been trying to make enough money to buy a pack of cigarettes and she strolled by, three sheets, and we sang some tunes. I think it took a few months of me going to her shows and assuming the role of the rowdiest bastard in the room to convince myself that we had to play music together. She was a damnned fine songwriter then and she's only getting better. Steve, bass-player extraordinaire, and I have been friends for a while, now. We used to bond in a ridiculous, adolescent way over blues: We'd trade CD's, heckle record store empoyees and shamelessly declare ourselves representatives of The Church Of Robert Johnson and Latter Day Saints. Clearly, this band is definitely something that should've happened five years ago. The three of us have a ball.. it feels like we've been friends and bandmates forever. - Joey
